The New Tupton Ivanhoe FC Summer Festival of Football had an exciting first weekend of action.

Sponsored by Wilkins Vardy Estate Agents the tournament welcomes over 200 teams each year.

First up on Saturday was the under sevens tournament sponsored by Extreme Automotive. Many of these teams were playing in their first tournaments and it was great to see the excitement and passion from the players, parents and coaches.

There was some really good football played and some really exciting games throughout the morning.

After a closely contested tournament an enthralling final, was decided on penalties and it was Porter FC who were crowned champions. Thank you to our final match ball sponsor Brid Electrical.

On Saturday afternoon it was the turn of the under eights. This competition and the final match ball was sponsored by partnerpay.

This year we had a first for the competition! Last year’s under 7’s winners returned and were successful again. Congratulations to Leek U8’s, the 2022 Champions.

A big shout out to New Tupton Ivanhoe U8’s Gold who made it through to the quarter finals with some free scoring football in the group stage.

On Sunday morning bumper crowds joined us to watch the football on Fathers Day.

First up in the morning it was the Under 11’s. Thank you to Tor Electrical for sponsoring the competition and Mascot Management the final match ball sponsor.

Dronfield were crowned champions with Staveley finishing as runners up.

Sunday afternoon it was the turn of the U12’s. The tournament was kindly sponsored by Air Haus and the final match ball by Wolseley.

Congratulations to Brampton Rovers who won the u12’s competition.
