Drum roll please……….   

This month we are pleased to announce the winner of our Ivanhoe of the Year competition 20/21. 

The winner is Riley Fern who plays for the under 11’s 

Riley’s dad passed away last year and the first thing he did was text his coach apologising that he couldn’t make the tournament the next day. 

Anthony Maidens, Chairman of New Tupton Ivanhoe said “The judges heard Riley’s story and were overwhelmed by his commitment at a devastating time for him.  Riley is a pleasure to coach and would do anything for his team mates.” 

The award celebrates the amazing things that players do both within the club or the local community each season.  An independent judging panel selected the winner from a nominee in each age group in the club. 

The club doesn’t run without the kind support of our sponsors.  We are pleased to announce that A1 Garage Doors has committed over £4000 worth of sponsorship to the club.  This funding will allow all the age groups in the club to wear a brand new anniversary kit.

Dave Hoult, Secretary of New Tupton Ivanhoe FC said “ We had the ambition to provide a brand new anniversary kit to all the teams in the club.  As the number of teams in club has grown the fundraising that the parents and coaches did through our anniversary raffle wasn’t enough.  I cannot express how grateful we are to A1 Garage Doors for their generous support of the club.”
